Here are the supplements we use to help promote optimal health in our
Miniature American  Shepherds

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive enzymes facilitate the chemical breakdown of food into smaller, absorbable components. Enzymes called amylases break down starches into sugar molecules; Proteases break down proteins into amino acids; and Lipases break down fat into its component parts.

People and Pets alike can benefit from taking  a digestive enzyme supplement. We recommend daily use of digestive enzymes to dogs that are being fed Kibble, or cooked foods only. Raw fed dogs can still benefit from daily digestive enzymes, or taken periodically while treating upset stomachs, diarrhea or for therapeutic use.

One Easy Solution for Your Pet's Digestive Woes

"Probiotics help promote your digestive health. Complete Probiotics helps support your immune system and aid in production of essential nutrients. Complete Probiotics also enhance the synthesis of B vitamins and improve calcium absorption along with helping you keep a healthy balance of intestinal microflora, and promoting vaginal health in females."

People and pets can all benefit from Probiotics. They can be given daily for optimal results, or periodically to treat gastroenteritis, given after antibiotics or other physical/metal stressors.

     Krill Oil

Aside from the fact that krill are a thriving, highly sustainable food source, there are specific reasons why it is an optimal source of omega-3s for your pet.

  • Krill is very well-absorbed, so your pet only needs about a fifth the dose of regular fish oil to receive the same benefits.
  • Krill contains more EPA than fish oil – 240 mg/g in krill vs. 180 mg/g in fish oil
  • Krill delivers its abundant EPA and DHA as phospholipids directly into your pet’s cells
  • Krill provides natural antioxidant protection including vitamins A and E, plus astaxanthin and canthaxanthin
  • Krill do not accumulate heavy metals
