Emme and Duke welcomed 7 puppies to the world on May 5th, 2022.

Emme started nesting and acting restless early in the morning. I took her temperature and it had already dropped. I knew the puppies were on their way. Emme and I cuddled all day long. The 1st puppy was born at 9:20 pm and the 7th puppy was born at 2:11 am. The pups weighed between 270g to 284g (9.5 to 10 oz) each. Emme remained super calm and was able to deliver and clean the puppies completely unassisted.

Our children stayed up to watch the whole process.

It was extremely special.
